May 21, 2026 – Following the merger with AXS Guard, Approach Cyber is clearly positioned as a Belgian cyber security player, offering an integrated range of consulting, technology and managed services. In this way, the company aims to help organisations better cope with tightening regulations, increasing cybercrime and a shortage of specialist talent.
According to Approach Cyber, traditional security is no longer enough. Companies need not only to prevent attacks, but also to be able to react quickly and recover from them. To meet these challenges, Approach Cyber structures its services around three pillars:

Belgian roots, international ambitions
Approach Cyber’s strength lies in its proximity to its customers and its local roots. “On the one hand, Approach Cyber remains agile enough to retain its flexibility, and on the other, it has the necessary scale to effectively implement its projects,” adds David Vanderoost.
Approach Cyber operates mainly from Belgium, but also has an office in Lausanne, Switzerland. In the coming months, the focus will be primarily on the Belgian market, although the company clearly envisages international growth in the longer term.
“First and foremost, we want to strengthen our position and credibility in Belgium and successfully finalise the merger with AXS Guard, in order to take full advantage of our combined solutions and services. But we also have international ambitions. Our office in Switzerland represents an interesting opportunity to test the export of our Belgian model to other markets. We are ambitious, but also cautious: the priority is to consolidate our foundations before expanding our presence.”
The company also invests actively in R&D through its participation in national and international consortia. For example, Approach Cyber contributes to cyber security solutions for European armies and, as part of the EUCINF project, is developing new technologies to limit the impact of disinformation and deepfakes.
